Hello, I’m Nancy.
I work with athletes and keep-fitters of all ages and abilities. I regularly work with runners, triathletes, and cyclists (including age group athletes), but also with people recovering from injuries and with long-term health issues.
The thing that binds my clients together is the desire to move better.
Multidisciplinary fitness coaching to help you take the next step.
I’m a UK Athletics running coach, a Pilates teacher, and a strength/conditioning trainer.
My aim is to bring all the benefits of each discipline together into one performance-boosting package that is custom-made for every individual I work with.

Improved movement + strength = Better recovery from injuries + Faster times come race day
We all have different needs and bodies. My training has given me an understanding of how to adapt to meet those needs. Improving body movement, however small and at whatever age, can have such a big impact on our lives. I fully believe that if we move better, we feel better. That’s why, after a 13-year career in advertising in London, I retrained in 2016 to focus on fitness coaching.
I’ve always loved being active. I first discovered Pilates in 2003 after being referred to a Pilates rehabilitation course as part of my recovery from a serious back injury. I understand the battle with chronic pain, and I know how frustrating it can be not to be able to do the things you love (I had to give up running for a long time myself). But I also know that doing Pilates, strength and conditioning work in combination has helped me maintain a healthy and mostly pain-free body while improving my racing performance and recovery time. I set up my coaching business to help others do the same and enjoy the real-life benefits.
For me, there is nothing better than an athlete feeding back to me that they have just done something that they never thought they could achieve, be it their first 5k or their first ultra-marathon.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me running trails and cycling hills in the glorious Peak District. I completed my first ultra-marathon in 2021. I’m also a member of Steel City Striders run club and can be found helping out on a Thursday evening. As a cyclist, I’ve competed in time trials, crit and road races, and mountain sportives, including the Etape du Tour.
